I don’t know what the fuss is about, food is good. They are fast, prices are reasonable given that it’s midtown. If you’re going broke just try and work harder, don’t take out your frustrations on a small restaurant. Lol, Best Thai Lunch we’ve ever had. Not just in Fresno. Anywhere!!! Hot, fast, delicious.
I came upon this restaurant after walking for an hour, very hungry and having had quite a terrible morning. They seated me quickly and gave me a tall glass of water and the menu. The lunch specials are all 10.95 (super affordable!) and give you enough food to feed yourself (I know the photo looks sparse, but I took it partway through eating!) The music they put on is lovely, and a volume gentle to the ears but enough that other parton’s chatter is background noise, and the food is quite literally the best I’ve had this year! It took my morning and turned it right around. I’m writing this review in the middle of my meal, but I know I will leave relaxed and ready to go on with my day. Thank you Tapsi! Made my day.
It’s really a surprise (good) to us that we found really decent authentic food at Tapsi in Fresno while almost every friend told me the best Thai food is in Fresno (we tried 2 restaurants with 4.5+ rate, neither impressed us). Now, I’ll have to disagree with them. The most precious matter we enjoyed is the detail attention the chef dedicated to the food.
